OP97: Low Power, High Precision Operational Amplifier Data Sheet

    Analog Devices
The OP-97 is a low-power alternative to the industry-standard OP-07 precision amplifier. The OP-97 maintains the standards of performance set by the OP-07 while utilizing only 600µA supply current, less than 1/6 that of an OP-07. Offset voltage is an ultra-low 25µV, and drift over temperature is below 0.6µV/°C. External offset trimming is not required in the majority of circuits. Improvements have been made over OP-07 specifications in several areas. Notable is bias current, which remains below 250pA over the full military temperature range. The OP-97 is ideal for use in precision long-term integrators or sample-and-hold circuits that must operate at elevated temperatures. Common-mode rejection and power-supply rejection are also improved with the OP-97, at 114dB minimum over wider ranges of common-mode or supply voltage. Outstanding PSR, a supply range specified from ±2.25V to ±20V and the OP-97's minimal power requirements combine to make the OP-97 a preferred device for portable and battery-powered instruments. The OP-97 conforms to the OP-07 pinout, with the null potentimeter connected between pins 1 and 8 with the wiper to V+. The OP-97 will upgrade circuit designs using 725, OP05, OP07, OP12, and 1012 type amplifiers. It may replace 741-type amplifiers in circuits without nullling or where the nulling circuitry has been removed. more

OP07: Ultralow Offset Voltage Operational Amplifier Data Sheet

    Analog Devices
The OP07 has very low input offset voltage (75 µV max for OP07E) that is obtained by trimming at the wafer stage. These low offset voltages generally eliminate any need for external nulling. The OP07 also features low input bias current (±4 nA for the OP07E) and high open-loop gain (200 V/mV for the OP07E).The low offsets and high open-loop gain make the OP07 particularly useful for high gain instrumentation applications.
The wide input voltage range of ±13 V minimum combined with a high CMRR of 106 dB (OP07E) and high input impedance provide high accuracy in the noninverting circuit configuration. Excellent linearity and gain accuracy can be maintained even at high closed-loop gains. Stability of offsets and gain with time or variations in temperature is excellent. The accuracy and stability of the OP07, even at high gain, combined with the freedom from external nulling have made the OP07 an industry standard for instrumentation applications.
The OP07 is available in two standard performance grades. The OP07E is specified for operation over the 0°C to 70°C range, and the OP07C is specified over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
The OP07 is available in epoxy 8-lead PDIP and 8-lead SOIC. It is a direct replacement for 725, 108A, and OP05 amplifiers; 741 types may be directly replaced by removing the 741's nulling potentiometer. For improved specifications, see the OP177 or OP1177. For ceramic DIP and TO-99 packages and standard micro circuit (SMD) versions, see the OP77. more

OP42: High Speed, Fast Settling Precision Operational Amplifier Data Sheet

    Analog Devices
The OP-42 is a fast precision JFET-input operational amplifier. Similar in speed to the OP-17, the OP-42 offers a symmetric 58V/µs slew rate and is internally compensated for unity-gain operation. OP-42 speed is achieved with a supply current of less than 6mA. Unity gain stability, a wide full-power bandwidth of 900kHz, and a fast settling-time of 800ns to 0.01% make the OP-42 an ideal output amplifier for fast digital-to-analog converters. Equal attention was given to both speed and precision in the OP-42 design. Its tight 750µV maximum input offset voltage combined with well-controlled drift of less than 10µV/%C eliminates the need for external nulling in many circuits. The common-mode rejection of the 88dB minimum over a ±11 V input voltage range is exceptional for a high-speed amplifier. High CMR combined with a minimum 500V/mV gain into 10k(ohm) load ensure excellent linearity in both noninverting and inverting gain configurations. The low input bias and offset currents provided by the JFET input stage suit the OP-42 for use in high-speed sample and hold circuits, peak detectors, and log amplifiers. Excellent radiation hardness characteristics make the OP-42 ideal for military and aerospace applications. The OP-42 conforms to the standard 741 pinout with nulling to V-. The OP-42 upgrades the performance of circuits using the AD544, AD611, AD711, and LF400 by direct replacement. In circuits without nulling, the OP-42 offers an upgrade for designs using the OP-16, OP-17, LT1022, LT1056, and HA2510. more

    TC913A/913B Datasheet

    Microchip Technology Inc
The TC913 is the world’s first complete monolithic, dual auto-zeroed operational amplifier. The TC913 sets a new standard for low-power, precision dual-operational amplifiers. Chopper-stabilized or auto-zeroed amplifi- ers offer low offset voltage errors by periodically sam- pling offset error, and storing correction voltages on capacitors. Previous single amplifier designs required two user-supplied, external 0.1µF error storage correc- tion capacitors — much too large for on-chip integra- tion. The unique TC913 architecture requires smaller capacitors, making on-chip integration possible. Microvolt offset levels are achieved and external capacitors are not required. The TC913 system benefits are apparent when con- trasted with a TC7650 chopper amplifier circuit imple- mentation. A single TC913 replaces two TC7650’s and four capacitors. Five components and assembly steps are eliminated. The TC913 pinout matches many popular dual-opera- tional amplifiers: OP-04, TLC322, LM358, and ICL7621 are typical examples. In many applications, operating from dual 5V power supplies or single supplies, the TC913 offers superior electrical performance, and can be a functional drop-in replacement; printed circuit board rework is not necessary. The TC913’s low offset voltage error eliminates offset voltage trim potentiometers often needed with bipolar and low accuracy CMOS operational amplifiers. The TC913 takes full advantage of Microchip’s proprietary CMOS technology. Unity gain bandwidth is 1.5 MHz and slew rate is 2.5V/µsec. more

    OP77S: Military Data Sheet

    Analog Devices
The OP77 significantly advances the state-of-the-art in precision op amps. The OP77's outstanding fgain of 10,000,000 or more is maintained over the full ±10V output range. This exceptional gain-linearity eliminates incorrectable system nonlinearities common in previous monolithic op amps, and provides superior performance in high closed-loop-gain applications. Low intitial VOS drift and rapid stabilization time, combined with only 50mW power consumption, are significant imporvements over previous designs. These characteristics, plus the exceptional TCVOS and the low VOS of 25µV maximum, eliminates the need for VOS adjustment and increases system accuracy over temperature.
PSRR of 3µV/V (110dB) and CMRR of 1.0µV/V maximum virtually eliminates errors caused by power supply drifts and common-mode signals. This combination of outstanding characteristics makes the OP77 ideally suited for high-resolution instrumentation and other tight error budget systems.
The OP77 is a direct or upgrade replacement for the OP07, 05, 725, or 108A op amps. 741-types can be replaced by eliminating the VOS adjust pot. more
