    The HCNR201 high-linearity analog optocoupler consists of a high-performance AlGaAs LED that illuminates two closely matched photodiodes. The input photodiode can be used to monitor, and therefore stabilize, the light output of the LED. As a result, the nonlinearity and drift characteristics of the LED can be virtually eliminated. The output photodiode produces a photocurrent that is linearly related to the light output of the LED. The close matching of the photodiode and advanced design of the package ensure the high linearity and stable gain characteristics of the optocoupler.<p>The HCNR201 can be used to isolate analog signals in a wide variety of applications that require good stability, linearity, bandwidth and low cost. The HCNR201 is very flexible and, by appropriate design of the application circuit, is capable of operating in many different modes, including: unipolar/bipolar, AC/DC and inverting/non-inverting.     The HCPL-2200 is an optically coupled logic gate that combines a GaAsP LED and an integrated high gain photodetector. The detector has a three state output stage and has a detector threshold with hysteresis. The three state output eliminates the need for a pullup resistor and allows for direct drive of data busses. The hysteresis provides differential mode noise immunity and eliminates the potential for output signal chatter.<p>The Electrical Switching Characteristics of the HCPL-2200 are guaranteed over the temperature range of 0 degrees C to 85 degrees C and a VCC range of 4.5 volts to 20 volts. Low IF and wide VCC range allow compatibility with TTL, LSTTL, and CMOS logic and result in lower power consumption compared to other high speed optocouplers. Logic signals are transmitted with a typical propagation delay of 160 nsec.<p>It is useful for isolating high speed logic interfaces, buffering of input and output lines, and implementing isolated line receivers in high noise environments. more

    This dual channel optocoupler contains a separated pair of GaAsP light emitting diodes optically coupled to a pair of integrated high gain photo detectors. It provides extremely high current transfer ratio and excellent input-output common mode transient immunity. A separate pin for the photodiodes and first gain stages (VCC) permits lower output saturation voltage and higher speed operation possible with conventional photodarlington type optocouplers. In addition, VCC may be as low as 1.6 V without adversely affecting the parametric performance. It is available in an 8-Pin DIP package.<p>Guaranteed operation at low input currents and the high current transfer ratio (CTR) reduce the magnitude and effects of CTR degradation.<p>The outstanding high temperature performance of this split Darlington type output amplifier results from the inclusion of an integrated emitter-base bypass resistor which shunts photodiode and first stage leakage currents to grounds.<p>The HCPL-2730 is specified at an input current of 1.6 mA and have a 7 V VCC and VO rating. The 300% minimum CTR allows TTL to TTL interfacing at this input current.<p>Important specifications such as CTR, leakage current, output saturation voltage are guaranteed over the 0 degrees C to 70 degrees C temperature range to allow trouble-free system operation. Selection for lower input currents down to 250 mA is available upon request. more

    The ISL28022 is a bi-directional high-side and low-side digital current sense and voltage monitor with serial interface. The device monitors current and voltage and provides the results digitally along with calculated power. The ISL28022 provides tight accuracy of less than 0.3% for both voltage and current monitoring over the entire input range. The digital power monitor has configurable fault thresholds and measurable ADC gain ranges.<p>The ISL28022 handles common-mode input voltage ranging from 0V to 60V. The wide range permits the device to handle telecom, automotive and industrial applications with minimal external circuitry.     MAX6682: Thermistor-to-Digital Converter

    The MAX6682 converts an external thermistor's temperature-dependent resistance directly into digital form. The thermistor and an external fixed resistor form a voltage-divider that is driven by the MAX6682's internal voltage reference. The MAX6682 measures the voltage across the external resistor and produces a 10-bit + sign output code dependent on that voltage. <p>The MAX6682 does not linearize the highly nonlinear transfer function of a typical negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor, but it does provide linear output data over limited temperature ranges when used with an external resistor of the correct value. Over the 0°C to +50°C temperature range, the MAX6682 produces output data that is scaled to 8 LSBs/°C (for 0.125°C resolution), provided that the correct thermistor and external resistor values are used. Other temperature ranges can be easily accommodated, but do not necessarily yield data scaled to an even number of LSBs per degree.<p>The 3-wire SPI™-compatible interface can be readily connected to a variety of microcontrollers. <p>The MAX6682 is a read-only device, simplifying use in systems where only temperature data is required.<p>Power-management circuitry reduces the average thermistor current, minimizing self-heating. Between conversions, supply current is reduced to 21µA (typ). The internal voltage reference is shut down between measurements.<p>The MAX6682 is available in a small, 8-pin µMAX package and is specified over the -55°C to +125°C temperature range. more
